Energy Outreach Coordinator - Data Center Job Board

About the Job

We are currently seeking a proactive and self-motivated Energy Outreach Coordinator to work in our Chandler, AZ office to target the Data Center industry. This position is responsible for acquiring participation in utility sponsored energy efficiency programs from contractors, distributors, manufacturers, vendors, A&E firms and other community stakeholders throughout Arizona and surrounding areas that service the Data Center industry. The successful candidate will be leading, managing, and conducting trade-ally outreach, sales and marketing activities for utility-sponsored energy efficiency programs.

Duties and Responsibilities

-Identify potential energy savings strategies and projects within the Data Center industry.
-Deliver effective sales presentations and respond to questions and inquiries from industry professionals in an accurate and timely manner.
-Network and partner with trade allies, utility representatives, account managers, key industry contacts and end users to identify potential rebate opportunities.
-Be a key resource for trade allies who leverage the rebate programs to promote and sell energy efficiency to commercial customers.
-Utilize an understanding of business operation costs associated with operating and maintaining facilities in order to develop and propose energy efficiency projects.
-Conduct training seminars to educate stakeholders on rebate program logistics, technologies and new developments in the marketplace.
-Identify and focus on market segments capable so as to maximize energy savings with the most efficient and cost effective approach.
-Develop and maintain individual and team strategies for reaching sales, program targets and other business related objectives.
-Establish and maintain a professional client rapport, including identifying and anticipating client needs and proposing solutions.
-Maintain an active project pipeline to assure goals and objectives are consistently met.
-Promptly and accurately address client concerns to assure problem resolution and promote long-term productive relationships.
-Understand the organization and decision-making process in order to work with stakeholders in determining project eligibility, schedule and potential energy savings.
-Communicate and coordinate project activities with utility representatives, end-users and other stakeholders, as needed.
-Consistently meet or exceed program expectations related to sales, marketing, communication, client satisfaction and other key performance indicators.
-Other duties, as required.

Qualifications

-BS/BA degree is required, or commensurate demonstrated direct experience
-3+ years experience working in professional sales, account management, marketing, business management or project management
-Technical and marketplace expertise in commercial and/or industrial mechanical systems, electrical, architectural, HVAC, or other building systems a plus.
-Demonstrated success in a sales environment.
-Superior time management and organizational capabilities, including the ability to deliver on deadlines and manage a high volume workload.
-Superior customer relations and interpersonal skills are required.
-Excellent written and oral communications are essential.
-Planning, organization and self-management in a professional environment are desired.
-Ability to communicate, council, and sell concepts at all levels of an organization.
-Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word is required.
-Local mechanical, electrical, or HVAC industry contacts are desired.
