Rickie Weeks' fourth-inning home run provided the difference for the Brewers. Francisco Rodriguez picked up a save after manager Ron Roenicke gave him the closer job before the game.

MILWAUKEE (AP) ? Brewers slugger Ryan Braun left yesterday's game with a strained right groin. Braun exited the game in the seventh inning. It's unclear how the injury occurred. Braun was bothered by a right groin injury in May.

CINCINNATI (AP) ? Ryan Ludwick belted a three-run homer last night to help the Cincinnati Reds beat the Arizona Diamondbacks 4-0. Starter Johnny Cueto got the win after pitching six shutout innings. Cincinnati first baseman Joey Votto had surgery earlier in the day to repair torn cartilage in his knee.
